树叶为黎族人常用的传统乐器。吹奏时，将树叶片夹在两指之间，利用吹气和两掌张合技巧吹出曲调。擅长者不但可完整吹出七声音阶，还可以吹奏滑音等技巧，犹如歌唱般悦耳动听。

The leaf is also used as a musical instrument by the Li people. To play the leaf, hold it between two fingers, and then make music by whistling along with the open-close movements of palms. The adepts of leaf-whistling not only play the whole Ancient Chinese Seven-Note Scale, but also use the techniques such as glissando. The music they make is as beautiful as singing.
