About the Authors
Ms Farhana Helal Mehtab is an associate professor and head at the Department of Law, Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. She penned the book An Introduction to ADR Mechanism: Bangladesh Perspective. She received collaboration training on Arbitration, “Training of Trainers in Arbitration”(ToT)from Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre(BIAC)and International Law Institute(ILI)Washington, D. C. and was honoured as the first trainer on arbitration in June, 2013. Farhana Helal Mehtab focuses mainly on teaching and conducting research works on different legal and educational issues with social implications. Since Ms Mehtab's area of specialization is“Human Rights Law”, she raises her voice in international forums so that human rights impacts are reflected in the arbitration process. In 2015, she presented her work on“Arbitration: Bangladesh Perspective”at the 7th International Conference on the New Haven School of Jurisprudence, in Hangzhou, China.
Mr Md. Abu Saleh is a lecturer at the Department of Law in Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. He is also an advocate before Dhaka Judge Court. He completed LLM in International Law from South Asian University, New Delhi, India and prior to that he pursued LLB and LLM from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Mr Riad Mahmud is currently working as a lecturer at the Department of Law of Daffodil International University, Bangladesh. Previously he worked at Justice for All of USAID and also worked as a researcher at Bangladesh Institute of Labour Studies. He completed his LLB and LLM from Department of Law, University of Dhaka.
